This web page, which has larger images, shows details in the types of egg-shaped drums I made, though I prefer the term "heart-shaped." The images below are samples of egg-shaped drums I have made. Please note that colors do vary within each type of hide from light to dark, and thicknesses vary from thin to thick.

Every drum is an individual with the attributes of the animal (for the drum skin) and the tree (for the drum frame) who have given to us. Each drum also has the characteristics of its drum maker (i.e., how the drum is constructed and the energy and prayers put into it).
