Policies

I love making drums and rattles and other shamanic tools. My goal and efforts are to make the best things I can. I have made drums and rattles for hundreds of customers. That's very gratifying.

I select only the best materials and use them to make the best possible drums, rattles, drum beaters, and more. Any materials or finished products that are not up to my quality standards are offered to my shaman circle as a giveaway.

Guarantee
I guarantee my creations for one year. If your drum or rattle or drum beater fails during that period, please contact me for repair, replacement, or refund. Neglect, such as leaving your drum inside a car on a summer day, invalidates this guarantee.

Custom Made Drums
Nearly all my drum sales are custom orders. I maintain a large inventory of hides and hoops so that I can make the drum a customer wants. As I make a drum, I write the customer's name inside the drum, and I have a ceremony for that drum and that customer. Drums are typically completed within a very few days of the order.

Wolf Drums, Powwow Drums, and Rattles
These drums and and all rattles take many days to create, so I keep a supply of these on hand for immediate shipment. (Rattles take longer to make than most drums because of the many intermediate shaping and drying steps during their creation.)

Power Animals
I utilize Bear, Buffalo, Elk, Horse, Moose, Mountain Lion, and Wolf in my work. I work hard to obtain the best possible hides, but I am conscious of obtaining hides that are always the byproduct of something else. Whenever possible, I obtain tannery rejects, and I give them a spiritual purpose.

Special Items/Special Orders
I want my customers to be happy and will work to ensure that customers are happy. If there is some type of drum or rattle that you want but that is not on my web pages, please ask. I'm always willing to work with you.

Shipping
I ship via the U.S. Postal Service and pack things very securely. I have had very good success shipping this way, including around the world. Shipping and handling charges for the continental United States are listed next to each item available for purchase. Please contact me for the correct shipping and handling charges outside the continental United States.

Payment
Payment must accompany the order and is most easily done with PayPal (at www.paypal.com). It is safest for you, and I pay all the fees. You need not have a PayPal account; all you need is a credit card, and you give PayPal the same information you give any online merchant. I also accept personal checks and money orders from North American customers, and I ship after the check or money order has cleared. For orders outside North America, I only accept PayPal.

Privacy
Your privacy is protected by me. I do not share customer names with anyone for any reason. I don't pester customers with offers to buy. I don't have a newsletter, so don't expect any regular mailings from me. If you express interest in something new (e.g., my wolf drums), I might actually send you an email when I create that new product. If you would like to keep in regular contact, let me know. I'm always happy to talk to customers.

Legal
All the items I offer are legally obtained in North America and legally purchased in the State of Kansas where I live. I will not knowingly ship anything that is prohibited in a customer's home state or country, but it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the order is legal and proper in the customer's state or country. If you are not sure, please ask before ordering.
