Moose Drums and Moose Rattles

Moose rawhide is wonderful and durable for drums and rattles, and it is often used for ceremonial work. Moose is typically a thick hide, and it tolerates weather and humidity changes very well.

The first drum I ever made in 1996 was a moose drum. I still have it, use it, and value it very much.

I am able to offer completed drums and rattles as well as kits for moose drums and moose rattles.

Occasionally, I have translucent moose rawhide for making "glowing" moose rattles. These rattles will faintly/briefly flash in a dark room after hard shaking.
