Shaman Gourd RattlesI make these rattles from gourds grown near my home in Kansas. They are all canteen shape. They weigh much less than comparable rawhide rattles. I fill gourd rattles with many different types and sizes of wooden beads to obtain a very full sound. I have had many requests for "custom size" gourd rattles. I do make those; your rattle head can be up to 12 inches (30 cm) in diameter. |
