Elk Drums and Elk Rattles

Elk rawhide is very traditional for drums, rattles, and ceremonial work. It is relatively easy to work with and is widely available. Elk is a hide of medium thickness, and it tolerates weather and humidity changes well.

I am able to offer completed drums and rattles as well as kits for elk drums and elk rattles.

I am also able to offer Lightning Elk Rattles. These are translucent rawhide rattles filled with small quartz crystals. These rattles produce brief flashes of light when shaken vigorously in a dark room.
