Ant Hill Stone Shaman Rattles

Ant hill stones are a traditional filling for shaman rattles. These stones are perfect for rattles because ants push stones out of their nests, and that results in a mound of stones that are uniform in size and texture.

Ant Hill Stone Rattles have a softer, gentler sound. These rattles are excellent with babies, children, other small ones, and their shamanic counterparts, all of whom respond to quieter sounds.

I have personally collected and sorted these stones from abandoned ant nests in New Mexico, including the Posi ruins at Ojo Caliente.
